Will social media be around much longer?  Social media is a good outlet for communication and catching up with people you may not have had contact with for a long period of time. In high school I could remember that none of my friends had Facebook but were talking about twitter, I noticed that majority of my friends parents had Facebook and used it to catch up with friends from high school. I didn't think I would enjoy twitter so I decided to try Facebook and none of my friends besides maybe two or three had one and then before I knew it everyone had a Facebook.  I have always been a Facebook user, but I noticed that now its used for the spread of fake news and politics and because of it, I don't think people will want to continue to use it.
